Code Of Conduct

A Life Coaching is focused on maintaining a high level of ethical standards and guidelines aimed at providing professional Life Coaching services to all clients.

A Life Coaching has established the following guidelines to ensure the interest of both coach and client and that the established ethical standards are continually met during the coaching process.

Before the initial coaching session :

Before we commence with your email, phone or face to face coaching process you will be asked to read or complete the following documents :

• Code of Conduct
• Life Coaching Agreement
• Client Information Sheet

Once you have read these documents and signed the Coaching Agreement your coaching sessions can begin. Upon returning the Client Information sheet to A Life Coaching, a client file will be opened for you. This is not required with the Self Life Coaching pack.

At Coaching sessions A Life Coaching will :

• Always operate in a professional manner
• Be open and honest about our level of coaching skills
• Establish a coaching agreement with you within the first coaching session, excluding the Self Coaching solution
• Respect your right to confidentiality
• Avoid dual role conflict
• Avoid accepting money for referrals from other professions to whom you are referred
• Alert you to the fact that coaching is no longer necessary when that time arises
• Honor the coaching profession at all times
• Maintain all information confidential. Please note: email coaching confidentiality covers A Life Coaching records management. We cannot take responsibility for internet based spyware, virus or other illegal internet products.
  A Life Coaching uses current Norton protection products.

Once your coaching is completed A Life Coaching will :

Contact you in due course to find out how you are progressing.
Ask if you can be used as a reference (if required).
Respect your right to confidentiality.

The A Life Coaching model is used at all times during the coaching process, either by the individual self coaching who completes the guided process diligently, or by a professional Life Coach who completes the model in consultation with each client.
